And thanks for interviewing me, Angela! I think your advice on how to maximize an organized event by creating a platform for bloggers is great, and your advice to bloggers is absolutely on the money. Looking forward to seeing you again at BIF7, too!

I love the analogy of the 24-hour news channel, Jeffrey. Multiple streams being edited on the fly to create a comprehensive and meaningful picture of a complex event. Given the steadily lowering costs of producing hybrid events like this, I see more opportunities to increase the way in which live events are shared and experienced. Thanks for your insights.

I've added #innochat to my schedule. What I find most appealing about the weekly opportunity is the pre-work done to set up the chat. While I value some of the chats where we just show up and talk, the focus brought to #innochat suggests to me that it should be a more fulfilling experience.

Your description of the session you did at SXSW made me think of the control booth for a 24-hour new channel with numerous cameras shots displayed on screens, multiple reporters in the field, and viewers calling in. A savvy producer is playing traffic cop directing the action so that the television viewer has a seamless experience.

As any of us tried to move more toward hybrid sessions and facilitation,it seems we might be able to learn from the folks who have been doing something similar "in the booth" for some time.
